Something delicious is growing for you in Bolsena!

We have just returned from a visit to the region around Lake Bolsena. We are excited to share the results of our visit with you. First, Battaglini Originale is getting a new name: Olijfolie.Shop.

This new name better reflects our ambitions and the growth of our product range. While for years we proudly offered the special products of our trusted supplier Frantoio Battaglini, we are now opening the door to a wider range of high-quality products from the same beautiful region of Italy.

This will provide more choice for our customers, without compromising on quality, authenticity, and origin. Battaglini will remain in the assortment; we are expanding with new flavor notes and special mono-cultivars, oil from a single olive variety, offering a truly unique taste experience.

The name changes, our passion remains the same: offering honest products with an authentic story, directly from families who have worked with love and craftsmanship on their land, their olive trees, and their traditions for generations.

Soon, we will be adding unique new products to our assortment. These come from carefully selected producers, from the same area as our current supplier. After visiting several parties, we fell in love with the families behind Borgo Podernovo and Misciattelli Bernardini. Their history, dedication to quality, and respect for tradition align perfectly with the values we uphold.

These families produce excellent olive oil as well as other regional products that represent the rich culinary culture of their region. The beautiful estates also offer informative tours and accommodation. Please let us know if you would like to get in touch with these families about this.

We expect the first deliveries of the new products from the new harvest in November this year. Due to small-scale production, combined with great interest in these exceptionally beautiful products, we recommend ordering in time. As is often the case with products of exceptional quality: sold out means really sold out.

Therefore, it is now possible to:

• subscribe for the new harvest via the contact form and express your interest in specific products;
• place a pre-order via the online store.

This increases the chance that your desired products will be available as soon as the new harvest arrives.

We advise those interested in exceptionally good olive oil not to wait too long. Experience shows that limited productions sell out quickly.

In addition to expanding our assortment, we also want to have more personal contact with our customers and other enthusiasts of Italian regional products.

Therefore, in the coming period, we will develop more activities around:

• annual markets;
• tastings and gatherings.
