Misciattelli Bernardini

History and tradition:

This wonderful family business is located in historically significant Umbria. They produce DOP-certified olive oil from the region around Orvieto.

Method:

The harvest is done manually, using mechanical aids. Picking starts in mid-October, and processing takes place on the same day at a specialized mill in Orvieto. This mill operates entirely according to organic principles, although the family deliberately does not pursue organic certification.

Characteristic:

The family focuses on absolute quality over volume. Therefore, there is an annual adjustment of the blend, based on the quality of the harvest. They strive for the best possible taste every year.

Accolades:

Annually, the family receives multiple international awards. The brand is included in the World Olive Oil Ranking. Of our selected producers, Misciattelli Bernardini is the most thoroughly documented in the international ranking.
