Newsletter May

In this monthly newsletter, you can read about the luxury Dolce Vita line, the gold certificate we won for Di Bolsena, new events, a cosmetic line based on extra virgin olive oil, and our plans for the coming period.

Dolce Vita, chic addition to the product range

At the request of our customers, it was already possible to have your ordered products wrapped as a festive gift. This made it possible to give the delicious olive oil as a present to family, friends, and business relations. To add an extra touch of luxury and festivity, we have included the Dolce Vita series in our assortment. If you see the bottles, you'll understand what we mean: pure luxury with a delicious content. You'll make a statement in your own kitchen and certainly also with people to whom you give Dolce Vita as a gift.

There are three variants, where the different colors hint at the content, with the gold and black bottles being the absolute top. Discover them on the website.

Prestigious award in international competition

We have been talking about it for months, and in the meantime, we have received word that we have won a prestigious award with our participation in the Amsterdam International Olive Oil Competition (AIOOC). It is, of course, wonderful to hear that, but it remains exciting until June 11th. That is the date on which the awards ceremony will take place in Amsterdam. On that date, it will be announced which award participants have won, so we don't know that yet. Of course, we will immediately inform everyone via our socials, Facebook and Instagram as soon as we know the results. Follow us and keep an eye on our publications on June 11th!

New Ideas

By participating in small-scale markets, such as the Pentecost market on May 20th at Proef de Tuin, we are inspired to add new activities to our offerings. For example, we think it would be fun to offer workshops where you learn how to taste the quality of olive oil and how to make simple and flavorful dishes with olive oil. It's still just an idea, and we will elaborate on it further because, of course, you need a location, equipment, and someone who can organize it all in an enjoyable way. Perhaps we can involve existing partners such as Claudine Culinair and Dionne goes Culinary; you'll hear more about that later.

New product line based on olive oil

In the previous newsletter, we mentioned that we have the possibility to include cosmetic products based on olive oil in our assortment. This idea is also still fully under development. Our health is supported and promoted in various ways by the use of olive oil, also for the care of our body, skin, and hair. At Battaglini in Italy, extra virgin olive oil is processed into products for cleansing and caring for the face, body, and hair.

We are very curious if you are already familiar with the use of cosmetic products based on olive oil. Therefore, we invite everyone to share findings and experiences or questions about olive oil-based cosmetics via our contact button. Your input will give us a better insight into interest and need, allowing us to tailor our offerings accordingly.

Finally

Of course, we encourage everyone who is satisfied to let us know, for example, via Trustpilot and Google. Furthermore, we invite everyone to contribute to our newsletters and publications with their own ideas, recipes, and comments via the contact button or under the blogs.

Wishing you a healthy, pleasant, and successful time from the team of Battaglini Nederland!
