Over the past two months, we've been working hard behind the scenes to make our Olijfolie.shop richer, clearer, and more personal. Not with big, flashy changes, but with subtle improvements that precisely align with what our customers value: quality, simplicity, and an authentic Mediterranean experience.

New suppliers & new products

Our collection has been expanded with new products from producers in the area around Lake Bolsena and Orvieto in Italy. Each of these companies has its own family story with rich history, unique culture, and a distinct flavor profile. We've described them on a new page, with background and culture for each company.

What's new:

• New flavor profiles from family businesses with centuries-old traditions;
• A true DOP added with a special history;
• Limited editions from small harvests of mono cultivar Caninese;
• Robust & mild varieties alongside the well-known versatile mild one.

🌱 Flavor profiles to help you choose

Every olive oil has been given a clear place in our assortment, based on 4 elements: Flavor profile, Food pairing, Health and Quality, and Origin and Production method. This way, you can more quickly find the olive oil that suits your kitchen and your preference.

Flavors that surprise you

As an enthusiast and convinced user of olive oil, Milly and I became very curious when we saw a recipe for whipped cream ice cream and olive oil on one of the social platforms. We immediately tried that combination with a delicious mono cultivar olive oil, and it's now a standard over ice cream, delicious!

Then we started working with lemon and orange flavors over whipped cream ice cream; you just can't stop eating it. Meanwhile, several family members and friends are addicted to these combinations. Feel free to try it yourself.

A fun fact is that the orange flavor is now also available in 250ml bottles. Of course, the cute 150ml can also remains in our assortment.

🎨 Subtle innovations in the webshop

The flavor profiles have been added to present you with a wider range and more options to choose the right oil for the right dish or personal preference.

🌿 Color scheme inspired by olive groves

The shades on the website are better aligned with the colors you see when walking through an olive grove: soft green hues, warm earth and sand tones, and subtle Mediterranean accents.

🧭 New filters in all collections

Choosing is easier than ever. Within the EVOO, Organic, and Aromas collections, you can now filter by specific type, flavor, and supplier. This allows you to find and order what you're looking for even faster. After reading the flavor profiles, you might already have a preference for a specific supplier or type of olive oil.

💚 Refreshed "Healthy living" page

Our page on health has been completely renewed with:

• Clear explanations about fats, polyphenols, and vitamins;
• Examples of what olive oil does for your health;
• Practical tips for daily use.

Because olive oil is more than just a product. It's a story of culture, nature, health, and taste, and we want to showcase that better. With these updates, we bring the stories of our suppliers closer, make choosing easier, and create a webshop that feels like a stroll through a Mediterranean olive grove.
